Green chutney is one of my favorite recipes! You may ask why? Its because its so tasty and a life saver when you do not feel like cooking but still feel like eating something tasty! It is so easy and super fast to make and the best part is not much chopping is required 🙂 It makes a wonderful spread in sandwiches, a great accompaniment to many snacks, kababs. You can also have this as an accompaniment with parathas 🙂 This recipe is an adaptation from Tarla dalal’s collection.
- 1 cup mint washed
- 1 1/2 cup coriander leaves and stalk
- 1 onion roughly chopped
- 2-3 green chillies (or as per taste)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 pod garlic
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- black salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients and grind it into smooth paste in a blender/mixie
This keeps well in the refrigerator for 4-5 days!
